Heritage Christian Online School seeks dedicated Education Assistants to collaborate on personalized learning plans for home learners. With a flexible schedule, work 6+ hours weekly and engage in transformative educational experiences tailored to each student's needs, potentially increasing hours as the school year progresses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor students' academic and behavioral development
- Promote effective study habits and life skills
- Tailor learning experiences to diverse student needs
- Partner with families and Case Managers for individual support
- Facilitate IEP goal achievement alongside the support team
Requirements:
- Background in Education or Behaviour Support
- Non-EA credentials in relevant fields are encouraged
- Valid Educational Assistant certification preferred
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities
- Proficient in digital tools like Zoom and Google Workspace
