This esteemed Ottawa-based software firm seeks a Director to act as CISO and Privacy Officer while leading IT operations strategically. With a focus on SOC2 compliance, data privacy management, and IT infrastructure direction, you will directly impact organizational success. Collaborate with a lean team, executing critical tasks while fostering growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a comprehensive security program, managing SOC2 compliance
- Serve as Privacy Officer, handling policies and assessments
- Conduct enterprise security reviews for Sales teams
- Enforce SLAs and optimize cloud spend in GCP/AWS
- Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and production readiness
Requirements:
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure and operations
- Proven security leadership experience with SOC2 focus
- Technical expertise in Windows environments and databases
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations
- Strong communication skills for executive presentation
