Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Will train Responsibilities Tasks Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Pay and receive payments for goods Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Employer: ON-ROUTE TRANSPORT LTD How to apply Direct Apply By Direct Apply By email By mail 3455 Ross Rd Abbotsford, BC V4X 1M6
