Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Abbotsford, B or Calgary. The Over the Road Heavy Haul Driver will be responsible for operating heavy haul trucks to transport oversized and heavy loads, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing and transporting loads, and maintaining detailed documentation of routes and deliveries. The role may involve traveling long distances across Western Canada and the Western US.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Truck Driving and handling heavy haul trucks.
  • Proficiency in Material Handling and ensuring safe and accurate load securing.
  • Strong Organization Skills and a High Level of Accuracy in documentation and planning for trips.
  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
  • Ability to comply with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with route planning and familiarity with cross-border regulations is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
