Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in completing projects with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes across various types of construction and renovation work. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including woodworking, masonry, and finishing techniques. The Finisher will collaborate closely with project managers, carpenters, and other trades to deliver exceptional results that meet client specifications and safety standards.

Duties

  • The interior finisher's responsibilities include measuring, cutting and installing tiles, interior framing, wood floors, doors and trim, and drywall and taping.
  • Construct and install wooden cabinets, stairs, handrails, closets, paneling and molding, and other finishes that complete a home build, renovation or addition. .
  • Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, caulking, and painting to prepare surfaces for final finishes.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with framing, carpentry, woodworking, plumbing, electrical work, and other related tasks as needed.
  • Conduct restoration work on existing structures to improve durability and appearance.
  • Measure accurately and estimate material needs for projects.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction finishing or related trades such as masonry, carpentry, or woodworking.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in finishing work.
  • Experience with concrete forming, tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, roofing, or similar specialties is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely.

  • Maintenance Person experience or background in manufacturing can be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
