Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ottawa, ON for an Intermediate Interior Designer. The Intermediate Interior Designer will contribute to the design and development of creative and functional workplace solutions. Daily responsibilities include collaborating on conceptual designs, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating materials and finishes, and managing relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. The role also involves ensuring that all designs align with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong understanding of spatial planning, material selection, and furniture sourcing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Professional experience in workplace or commercial interior design
  • NCIDQ certification or equivalent is an asset
