Your responsibilities and tasksEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Traveling throughout the assigned territory to train and guide GEA dealers.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with dealers by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by persuading dealers/customers within an assigned territory to purchase company products and services.
- Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Developing innovative sales strategies to increase sales within the assigned territory.
- Attending trade shows to promote company products and services.
- Ensuring that brand awareness within the assigned territory meets company expectations.
- Motivating dealers to achieve sales quotas and evaluating their performance based on their ability or inability to achieve sales quotas.
Monitoring competitors' sales activity within an assigned territory.
Must learn and maintain extensive product knowledge for the product lines.
Communicate and transmit to the management team call reports, expense reports, progress reports and sales forecasts.
- Maintain regular communication with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing departments in an effort to achieve the best possible synergies within the company.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will travel frequently by car and by airplane and possibly other means of transportation.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, speak, listen, and hear.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:
- The employee is required to read documents and computer screens and utilize computer assisted software and equipment to perform various tasks.
- Will be required to navigate around building sites while selling and training dealers.
- The employee will also visit dairy farms and the work environment may be typical of conditions usually common to dairy farms.
Qualification / Education Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in dairy farming.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results.
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have clear and concise communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong computer skills are necessary.
- Up to 60% travel depending on home location in relation to dealer locations.
- Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
