Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is perfect for individuals with an interest in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments who are eager to gain hands-on experience in food service and kitchen operations.

Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
  • Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and basic dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
  • Ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
  • Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary
  • Assist in setting up dining areas and serving stations as needed
  • Support the team during busy service times to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to hospitality and food service
  • Prior experience with serving or hospitality roles is a plus but not mandatory
