Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of packages during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and forklift operation.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay: $1,000.00-$1,500.00 per week

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)
