Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but training will be provided for qualified applicants.

Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the premises
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action and documentation
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
  • Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to resolve issues effectively

Requirements

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
  • Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly when needed
