Phylax Security is looking to hire a reliable and professional Security Guard for a commercial facility located in Kingston, Ontario.

This role involves maintaining a strong security presence, monitoring building access, protecting company assets, and ensuring the safety of the premises during operating and non-operating hours.

We are looking for candidates who can start immediately and who take pride in delivering professional, alert, and consistent security service.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible and proactive security presence throughout the facility.
  • Monitor access points, employees, visitors, and service vendors entering/exiting the building.
  • Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activities.
  • Document activities, complete daily reports, and record any unusual observations or incidents.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies following proper protocols.
  • Protect company assets including equipment, materials, and property.
  • Follow site-specific post orders and instructions from supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
  • Government-issued Photo ID
  • Valid G/G2 Driver's License
  • Reliable vehicle to travel to site (mandatory)
  • Must be able to start ASAP
  • Ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods
  • Professional appearance and communication

Compensation:

Rate varies based on site assignment, shift type, and guard certification level.

Positions available for:

  • Full-time
  • Part-time
  • Evening / Overnight / Weekends shifts
