Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas.
  • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or incidents.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
  • Must have a valid Security Licence.
