The Arena is an entertainment hub in Lethbridge that hosts the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes, concerts, world stage sporting events, weddings, trade shows and more. We are now hiring staff for our upcoming season.

Job description

The successful applicants must enjoy working in customer service and will be required to provide friendly, efficient and timely service to the public at the concessions, within the Arena. You will serve alcohol in one of many areas we provide alcohol service (Concessions, Club Seats, Luxury VIP Seats, Loge Seating, Hawkers, Beer Tubs or on the Deck), handle cash, perform clean-up functions and other related duties as required.

In this exciting and ever-changing environment, successful candidates will be passionate about customer service and committed to ensuring the customer experience at Arena is exceptional. As a representative of Arena and the City of Lethbridge, you are friendly, outgoing and enjoy working with people, are solutions oriented and enjoy a fast paced environment. Strong verbal communication skills are essential.

You must possess knowledge of appropriate serving methods and are knowledgeable in the operation of a P.O.S. (Point of Sale) System. You must be a minimum of 18 years of age, and possess some related experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. AGLC ProServe Certification is required at the time of hire.
