The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a reliable, safety-conscious DZ Driver to join our operations team. This is a permanent, full-time position involving daily runs. We offer an early start to the workday, which means an early end to your shift, giving you more time for life outside of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a DZ vacuum truck on assigned routes.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIRs) and maintain accurate digital/paper logbooks.
  • Operate pumping equipment to transfer liquid waste from client sites to disposal facilities, following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure all hoses and equipment are handled safely and secured properly in compliance with safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding service schedules or issues encountered on the route.
  • Adhere to all MTO specifications, company policies, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Class DZ Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • A clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration) are mandatory and must be provided.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience is required; experience in liquid waste hauling is a strong asset but not mandatory.
  • Physically fit and able to perform required duties in various weather conditions, including lifting hoses and operating equipment.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Southwestern, ON and surrounding regions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, positive customer service attitude.
