We are a client and people-centric organization, and we care deeply about the work we do, guided by our values and our passion to help the companies we work with grow and succeed.

Job Opportunity: Investment Attraction Executive – Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture (Permanent)

Under the direction of the Vice-President, Investment Attraction, you'll play a key role in promoting Nova Scotia's advantages in the Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture sectors and attracting new investment to the province. Your work will help grow the economy by creating quality jobs, expanding exports, and supporting businesses that strengthen this high-value, strategic sector. As part of the Investment Attraction team, you'll help position Nova Scotia as a global destination for Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture investment, making a meaningful impact on our communities and long-term prosperity.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll turn strategy into action by building relationships with investors and businesses in the Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture sector—showing them why Nova Scotia is the right place to grow and succeed. You'll lead efforts to attract and secure new investment opportunities that align with the province's economic priorities and long-term vision.

You'll represent Nova Scotia on Canadian and global stages, from industry events to site visits, working closely with partners across government and industry to strengthen the province's position in this vital sector. By putting clients first, you'll help drive meaningful growth, foster collaboration, and build a stronger foundation for Nova Scotia's economic future.

What We're Looking For

You're passionate about growing the Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture sectors in Nova Scotia and bringing industry insight to the table. Whether your background is in seafood sales, aquaculture projects or agri-food innovation, you understand the opportunities for growth that these areas present and are eager to help position Nova Scotia as a leader, with a focus on improving productivity and export revenues.

You have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience in business development, investment attraction, or the Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture sectors —or an equivalent mix of education and experience that's given you strong industry knowledge and relationship-building skills. You're curious, collaborative, and driven by impact. You may come from a technical or operational side of the industry—or have experience attracting investment and building partnerships. Either way, you know how to connect the dots between opportunity, strategy, and action.

You're also comfortable presenting to diverse audiences—from C-suite executives to community partners and can communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently. Most importantly, you're excited by the chance to work with industry, government, and global partners to help shape the future of Seafood/Agri-food/Aquaculture in Nova Scotia.

What We Offer

We offer a people-focused rewards package designed to support your wellbeing and work/life balance. Enjoy a flexible hybrid work model, generous sick leave, and leave for family care or personal wellbeing.
