NUMO Cannabis is a locally owned recreational cannabis retailer, proudly serving Edmontonians since legalization day on October 17, 2018. Our mission is to create a welcoming, informative, and engaging environment where customers can explore high-quality cannabis products with confidence. We focus on:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Cannabis Retail Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and passionate about the evolving cannabis industry. Availability for evenings and weekends is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge in a professional, friendly manner
  • Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience
  • Educate customers on cannabis products, formats, and safe consumption practices
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and conduct accurate cash handling procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all AGLC regulations and company protocols
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed
  • Support store cleanliness, organization, and operational standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive workplace culture and environment

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must hold valid SellSafe certification & a valid Criminal Record Check
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, punctual, and dependable
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in the industry

Schedule

  • 34–40 hours per week
  • Evening shifts and weekend availability are mandatory to meet full-time requirements
  • May include holidays and occasional coverage

Additional Information

  • All new hires are subject to a three-month probationary period
