Clinical Assistant

We are a community-based walk-in & family practice clinic with multiple practitioners. We are seeking a reliable, organized Clinical Assistant/Scribe to support providers during patient encounters and assist with smooth clinic flow.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Live documentation of patient encounters (scribe for MD/NP/PA)
- Charting in EMR in real-time
- Managing incoming documents / labs / imaging reports
- Efficient note-taking and updating EMR
- Communicating with patients professionally and maintaining confidentiality
- Vital signs collection and rooming patients (if trained)
Skills / Requirements:
- Clinical Assistant/Scribe or Physician Assistant diploma
- Experience with EMR systems (preferred)
- Comfortable typing quickly while listening and summarizing accurately
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Strong written and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual — high dependability is required
- Completion of USMLE / NAC / QE1 and/or US/UK Exam PASSED
Schedule:
- Weekday and weekend coverage — flexible scheduling
- Shifts may vary based on provider schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
Experience:
- Clinical Assistant : 1 year (preferred)
- Accuro EMR : 1 year (preferred)
- Completion of USMLE : 1 year (preferred)
- US/UK Exams : 1 year (preferred)
- Canadian Medicine : 1 year (preferred)
