About The Role
Our client, a progressive law firm with a fully paperless, cloud-based practice, is seeking a
Family Law Clerk
to join their team. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of family law experience who can work independently while supporting experienced Family Law Lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day family law files.
  • Draft pleadings, affidavits, motions, briefs, financial statements, and net family property statements.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties.
  • Analyze complex financials, property statements, and corporate records.
  • Maintain organized task lists, docket time entries, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Use DivorceMate, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and client management software effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Family Law.
  • Law Clerk Diploma or relevant education.
  • Strong knowledge of Family Law rules, procedures, and statutes.
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and technology.
