Location: North Bay Regional Health Centre – North Bay, ON

Status: Temporary Part-Time

Contract Duration: January – April 2026

Hours Per Week: Up to 21hours

Pay Rate: $34.75/hour

Clinical Technologists provide support to Canadore students during the placement portion of their program on-site at the partner location.

Qualifications:

  • Current certificate of registration (RN or RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligible for registration is required
  • Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in any of the following areas:
  • Continuing complex care
  • Long term care
  • Mental health
  • Acute care
  • Medical/Surgical
  • Current BCLS certification is required

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Work effectively with faculty to provide an optimal learning experience for students
  • Use applicable educational guidelines and the policies and procedures of the college and the clinical agency to supervise and monitor students as they provide ongoing client care
  • Make accurate observations and assessments related to students' abilities to use the nursing process and provide this as feedback to faculty
  • Modify clinical assignments and organizational plans and be prepared to intervene in order to accommodate changing client conditions and to support students
