Maple Ridge BC VX T, Canada RLI Building Envelope Specialists Full time $60,000 - $85,000 per year

RLI Building Envelope Specialists Ltd. is hiring a full-time experienced Insulation Estimator. The successful applicant is to have a minimum 4+ years' experience in a Construction Estimating role (preference in insulation applications; others considered). Contract Estimators welcome to apply.

The successful candidate must be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities:

· Prepare takeoff estimates of material quantities, labour and equipment costs for construction projects using Planswift or other digital takeoff systems relating to Division 7 - insulation and firestop scope of work

  • Examine and analyze tender documents
  • Assist with site investigations, take-offs, evaluating sub-trade quotations and working on tenders
  • Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and respond to changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Build positive and ongoing relationships with clients
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information effectively with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in estimating and/or project management software and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including AI software
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Committed to safety, customer service and quality performance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
