Summary
We are seeking a committed and compassionate
Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse
to provide exceptional patient care in an acute hospital setting. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Your clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and teamwork will play a vital role in promoting positive health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to medical and post-surgical patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment that supports healing
Position Highlights
Location:
Penticton, BC
Compensation:
$51–$57 CAD per hour
Shifts:
Flexible scheduling with day and night availability (8-hour and 12-hour rotations)

Requirements – What You'll Bring
1–2 years of recent experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting
Current
BLS certification
(ACLS preferred)
Active
BCCNM registration
in good standing (or eligibility for registration)
Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Dedication to collaborative, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care
