About the Role

Stellar Cleaners is a family-owned and rapidly growing commercial and residential cleaning service proudly serving Hamilton and surrounding communities. We are hiring reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners to support our expanding list of clients, including car dealerships, dental offices, physiotherapy clinics, gyms, and professional offices.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in commercial settings who is comfortable working evenings, weekends, and after-hours (when businesses are closed). As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility while we handle scheduling, client communication, and payments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform after-hours cleaning at commercial sites, including:
  • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
  • Sanitizing washrooms, kitchenettes, and high-touch areas
  • Cleaning glass, mirrors, and showroom surfaces
  • Emptying garbage and recycling
  • Maintaining cleanliness of offices, treatment rooms, lobbies, and common areas
  • Follow cleaning checklists and client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Communicate professionally with our office team regarding schedules, site notes, or issues.
  • Maintain and transport cleaning supplies/equipment (or use on-site equipment where applicable).
  • Deliver reliable, consistent, high-quality cleaning results on every visit.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of commercial cleaning experience (dealerships, dental/medical offices, gyms, clinics, or offices preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Clear background check.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Evening and weekend availability is required.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism.
  • Smartphone for navigation, instructions, and updates.

  • Experience with specialty environments:
  • Dental or medical offices

  • Fitness facilities
  • Familiarity with floor scrubbers, steam cleaners, or other commercial equipment.
  • Comfort working around sensitive equipment (e.g., dental tools, gym machines)
