Who we're looking for:
We're looking for an all-star Production Coordinator (12-month contract) to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and build a strong Production team to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. We are looking for someone with a solid background in sports television production management. Someone that possesses a strong work ethic, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills with experience in live and studio broadcasts. This position will play a role to help prepare and organize Sportsnet productions such as the NHL, Blue Jays, Curling, and many other properties that we produce.
What you will do:
- Organize various aspects of the logistical implementation of Sportsnet broadcast properties, working with other departmental staff and external facilitators to ensure the coordination, requisite scheduling, and administrative activities of productions are completed in an effective and efficient manner
- Assist in coordinating the daily operational functions of the department to ensure all production plans and strategies are implemented appropriately
- Collaborate with key production staff to help execute timely and efficient approaches for production planning and communication
- Coordinate and execute production travel scheduling and planning
- Work closely with other department staff to help with the financial reconciliation
- Apply and maintain processes and systems that align to the workflow for broadcast requirements and planned production activities
- Support the business administrative functions to ensure all aspects of the production department arrangements are implemented, detailed and documented

- Strong production coordination, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
- Adept business acumen, numerical and analytical skill set
- An ability to multi-task and work in a fast and driven environment
- Ability to give and receive clear direction, understand difficult material, work with instructions from others to take action
- Knowledge and interest of the professional sports landscape
- Thorough understanding of geographical locations, time zones, and travel
- A can-do attitude
