Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer savvy and data entry skills in a physiotherapy clinic setting will be an asset.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • PTA diploma or Medical Administrator Diploma would be an asset, but is not required.
  • A high degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills in a busy and fast-paced work environment

Key Responsibilities:
Physiotherapy Assistant - PTA

  • Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
  • Inventory of clinical supplies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide support to ensure effective patient care.

Clinic Coordinator - CCR

  • Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns..
  • Handle administrative tasks, including billing and inventory management, as well as Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic
  • Ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient's medical record.
  • Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.
