**Physiotherapy Assistant/PTA**
**Cambie Physiotherapy and Health Clinic **is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team in Richmond and New Westminster, BC. We are a well-established, multi-specialty and growing Physical Therapy practice looking for someone who is committed to their career and wants to grow with us. The position is part-time with opportunity to go full-time.
- Assisting in carrying out treatment programs under the direction of the Physiotherapist
- Performing physical therapy treatments as directed by physiotherapist
- Providing patient care and instructions to patients
- Preparing and sanitizing equipment for patient use, such as mobility aids, wheelchairs, and exercise equipment
- Greeting patients, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments using jane app when needed
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patients
- Maintaining cleanliness of treatment rooms at all times and laundry
- Assisting with patient flow in front desk area
- Performing other duties as assigned or required by physiotherapist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and management. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Ability to work effectively with others. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
