Description
Clix is seeking a Local SEO Specialist to execute the "ground game" of Local SEO, ensuring technical accuracy, listing health, and content optimization. You will work with Senior Strategists and Account Managers, taking ownership of implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization tasks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize Local SEO campaigns for single and multi-location businesses.
  • Manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) and Bing Places.
  • Execute local keyword research.
  • Maintain technical local SEO health by managing schema markup and resolving crawl issues.
  • Monitor campaign performance using SE Ranking and GA4.
  • Execute citation management.
  • Adapt campaign tactics to evolving Search Generative Experience (SGE) and AI-driven search environments.
  • Leverage LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude) and AI-driven developer tools.
  • Collaborate within your assigned Pod.
  • Expand skillset beyond Local SEO through internal mentorship and self-directed learning.
  • Communicate tactical updates and performance insights clearly.
  • Complete a minimum of 5 hours of professional development monthly.
  • Proactively perform ad-hoc optimization tasks.

Ideal Education And Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience managing Local SEO campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of Local SEO platforms and technical crawling tools.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Practical experience leveraging AI tools.
  • Active Certifications (Preferred): Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ), Google Business Profile (GBP) training, or Google Tag Manager (GTM) Certification.
