Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial spaces.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance duties such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within scheduled hours.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture or equipment as required.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.46 per hour
