Job Overview

Duties

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory levels and restock pharmacy supplies as needed
  • Maintain patient records with precision, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
  • Support research projects related to medication efficacy and safety
  • Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions
  • Supervise pharmacy staff or interns when necessary, providing guidance and oversight
  • Utilize LMS platforms such as Blackboard for training or educational purposes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care in hospital or acute care settings

Requirements

  • Prior experience in supervising pharmacy staff or interns is preferred
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Blackboard and LMS systems for training purposes
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, and patient care protocols
  • Experience in research, teaching, or laboratory settings within healthcare or pharmacy fields
  • Background in acute care, pediatrics, nursing, or hospital environments is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and inventory
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Prior classroom or laboratory experience related to medical sciences is a plus

This role is integral to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services and supporting overall patient health outcomes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
