Position Overview:

Detailer is responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing vehicles meet quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. This role performs thorough inspections, documents and photographs existing damage, completes vehicle preparation tasks, and supports facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring customers receive vehicles that are fully prepared, professionally presented, and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming vehicles and record any existing damage
  • Photograph and document vehicle damage for internal records
  • Complete the incoming inspection checklist, including body condition, lights, and system entry
  • Degrease vehicles, including door jambs and wheel wells, and power wash exteriors
  • Clean vehicle windows, vacuum interiors, and wash/chammy exteriors
  • Label vehicle windows and install required flags, tags, or hats
  • Prepare vehicles for customer delivery
  • Complete the Quality Assurance checklist to confirm all functions are operating properly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, such as garbage collection, premises cleaning, grass cutting, and securing the building and vehicles at night

Qualifications:

  • Valid G or G2 driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Automotive industry experience an asset, but not required
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective at time management
  • Reliable follow-through to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptable to working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Able to bend, reach, lift, and move in and around vehicles as part of inspections and cleaning duties
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and moving between tasks throughout the day

The pay range for this role is:
