We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals
- Develop and implement customized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and recovery strategies
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in accordance with local regulations
- Proven experience in hospital settings, particularly in acute care or pediatrics, is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods during treatments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: From $60,795.33 per year
Work Location: In person
