Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals
  • Develop and implement customized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations
  • Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and recovery strategies
  • Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in compliance with healthcare standards

Requirements

  • Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in accordance with local regulations
  • Proven experience in hospital settings, particularly in acute care or pediatrics, is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods during treatments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $60,795.33 per year

Work Location: In person
