Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes for shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of warehouse distribution systems.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, scheduling service and deliveries and inventory management.
- Implement and maintain a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize operations and improve efficiency.
- Oversee order picking, packaging, and heavy lifting tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Train and manage warehouse staff to enhance productivity and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is essential.
- Background in retail furniture
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 44 per week
