, located near Burstall, Saskatchewan — approximately 117 km north of Medicine Hat, Alberta.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being close to operations, solving practical challenges, and working as part of a small, high-performing team that values collaboration and mutual respect. You'll have the opportunity to directly influence how one of Western Canada's key gas processing facilities operates and evolves.
If you're looking for a role where your ideas and initiative make a visible difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
Why Join Us

- Conduct root-cause and performance assessments to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Integrity teams to deliver safe and efficient plant performance.
- Participate in short-term secondments with Operations, Planning, or Maintenance to build integrated site experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility upon hire.
- 5–10 years of experience in facility Operations, Maintenance, or Engineering. May consider Engineers-in-Training if site tasks are aligned with career aspirations.
- Working knowledge of industry codes (ASME B31.1/31.3, ASME BPVC Section I/VIII, API, NACE, CSA, ABSA).
- Familiarity with project management processes (PMP designation an asset, not required).
- Prior operational experience and knowledge with turnaround practices are strong benefits.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
- Previous experience in oil and gas processing or heavy industry is an asset.
- Hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving is preferred.
- This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada for the duration of their employment.
