Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Experience with dealership settings, welding, and mechanical systems is highly desirable. The Automotive Technician will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to ensure accurate repairs
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for complex repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Familiarity with vehicle assembly processes and use of various maintenance tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
