Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting overall manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe functioning.
  • Follow strict food safety protocols, guidelines, to maintain product quality.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and products to identify any issues or deviations from standards.
  • Assist in setting up machinery and performing changeovers as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while adhering to safety standards.
  • Support quality control processes by inspecting products and reporting irregularities promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience or knowledge food safety standards is highly desirable.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with food production processes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour
