About The Role:

Jump into the dynamic world of liquors As a Liquor Store Team Member, you'll be the hero who guides our customers through the labyrinth of flavors, origins, and food pairings. This isn't just a job; it's a journey - a chance to know, grow, and show the art of alcoholic beverages.

What You'll Do:

  • Become our walking liquor encyclopedia: from the latest trends to the most classic brews.
  • Ensure every customer feels like the VIP at a private tasting, guiding their selections with insights and impeccable service.
  • Shine the spotlight on our promotions, ensuring no one misses out on a fabulous deal
  • Keep our store looking top-notch, from inventory to displays.
  • Oh, and who can forget? You'll be the bedrock of a fantastic team, fostering a culture of camaraderie, respect, and excellence.

Who We're Looking For:

  • An individual with (or willing to get) a Proserve License.
  • A passion for wines, spirits, and beers.
  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Ability to upskill and spread knowledge.
  • Basic math wiz (you'll be handling transactions).
  • Someone ready to roll up their sleeves, whether it's a weekend, evening, or holiday.
  • Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but passion and potential are equally valued.

L'OCA Quality Market is an emerging specialty grocer and gourmet food retailer in Canada whose purpose is to "Spread the Love" by delivering a world-class food experience. Each location is comprised of a full artisanal market experience, including full-service restaurant(s), where traditional artisanal craftsmanship and service on the front end meets new world technology and innovation on the back end. A revolutionary purchasing and org structure, supported by custom technology, allows us to leverage efficiency across the business unit to drive scratch perishable production, massive prepared foods selection, full carcass meat programs, and world class service in a cost-effective format. There is also a special place in our hearts for quality local and Canadian products and we aim to deliver positive change to the food chain through a focus on local sourcing and private label partnerships. We are currently laying the groundwork for a national chain focused initially on western Canada. Our first location is 48k square feet, and located in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
