Panel Saw Operator / Woodshop Technician

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Panel Saw Operator / Shop Technician to join our growing woodshop team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently on a panel saw and sliding table saw, and who enjoys staying busy with consistent shop work.

With a high volume of projects coming up, this position will spend most of the day operating the saw, preparing accurate cuts, and supporting overall shop production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a panel saw and sliding table saw safely and efficiently
  • Read and follow cut lists, shop drawings, and measurements
  • Break down sheet goods accurately and consistently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with general shop tasks as needed
  • Work closely with the shop team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience operating a panel saw or sliding table saw
  • Strong ability to read drawings and cut lists
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Previous cabinet shop or millwork experience is an asset
