Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controls Panel Technician located in Calgary, AB. The primary responsibilities include installing, testing, calibrating, and maintaining control panels and electrical equipment. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure proper instrumentation and calibration for optimal system performance. Technical documentation and collaboration with other team members, engineers, and clients will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to diagnose and resolve technical and system-related issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Instrumentation and Calibration to ensure accurate and reliable measurement and operation.
  • Knowledge of Electricity fundamentals for working with circuits, wiring, and electrical components safely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety regulations.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and specifications.
  • Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process control environments is a plus.
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical, instrumentation, or related fields is highly preferred.
