Shape the world around you – as part of our Buildings M&E team, you'll contribute to projects that define tomorrow's spaces. From commercial buildings and retail environments to niche healthcare clinics and specialty spaces, your work will impact communities across Canada. Many assignments involve multi-location programs, giving you exposure to national standards and coordination challenges that go beyond single-site work.
Your Impact
- Design mechanical systems for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Deliver accurate heating and cooling load calculations, select equipment, and develop ductwork, piping, and sprinkler layouts.
- Apply codes and standards such as OBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA to ensure compliance and quality.
- Support construction administration through RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and site visits.
- Collaborate with electrical designers and other disciplines to create integrated solutions that meet client needs.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design for building systems.
- Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) and HVAC calculation tools such as HAP.
- Solid understanding of OBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and related standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable diploma; EIT/P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments.
