What We're Looking For

  • Previous Dental office administration experience is an asset, ideally with experience in treatment planning and familiarity of dental terminology
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills and patient interaction
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate within a team
  • Experience working with dental insurance claims, billing procedures, and payment coordination
  • Dental hygienist or dental assistant licensure is an asset
  • Certification in dental administration and treatment coordination is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with dental software (Tracker) is an asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage front desk operations and recall systems
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Process payments, insurance claims, and treatment plans
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Receive and input patient information into our dental software (Tracker)
  • Accurately document clinical details and correspondence in patient records and charts
  • Collaborate closely with the dentist to develop treatment plans, and ensure all required laboratory work is received in advance of scheduled appointments
  • Communicate with designated staff members regarding accounts receivable and coordination of benefits
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Support front desk workflows and help the team deliver exceptional care
