Role Overview As a Backend Engineer, you'll work on building an innovative fintech platform. ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced, scalable backend systems to support a leading-edge fintech platform.Develop a new financial ledger system and reconciliation infrastructure.Work with large datasets and resolve complex transactional issues with high accuracy.Optimize database performance and maintain critical data integrity.Deliver insightful, actionable reports to enhance client decision-making.Collaborate with engineers, product, and design to deliver high-quality solutions at speed.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and fintech trends.

Your ExperienceStudied Computer Science or closely related technical field.5+ years of backend or fullstack engineering experience (Intermediate or Senior level).3+ years building fintech or financial software systems, with exposure to reporting and compliance.Hands-on experience designing systems that process and reconcile massive transaction volumes.Bonus: Experience integrating or developing features for accounting platforms (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).Bonus: Understanding of financial reporting and compliance workflows.
