Cleaner for Residential and commercial

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional cleaning services. Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management.
• Use custodial supplies and cleaning agents safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning jobs within scheduled time frames.
• Communicate professionally with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper storage of tools and supplies.
• Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or large items as needed.

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience or background in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred. but not required
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for thorough cleaning duties.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently in various locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
