As our volume of work continues to expand, we are looking to add a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to our team.

Position Overview

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from tender through award. This role plays a critical part in supporting our pre-construction efforts and works closely with project management, site teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Develop complete bid submissions, including scopes, clarifications, and exclusions
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
  • Maintain organized estimating files and bid records
  • Support handover from estimating to project execution teams
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders throughout the tender process

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related role
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction scopes and sequencing

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and estimating or tender platforms (BuildingConnected, Procore, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills, written and verbal
