Job Title: Warehouse Driver

Location: Ontario Medical Supply, Ottawa

No. of Positions: 1

ATR: 4962

Salary: $17.60-$20.20/hr

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver/pick-up equipment, medication or supply parcels
  • Complete and submit delivery documentation/paperwork
  • Good grasp of mobile devices and app's
  • Complete pre/post trip vehicle inspection
  • Communicate with clients regarding parcel delivery and pick up
  • Load/unload vehicle using safe lifting practices
  • Report delivery issues to dispatcher and/or Order Desk
  • Perform general cleaning duties

Qualifications:

  • Perform general cleaning duties
  • Completion of high school
  • Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a delivery driver
  • Good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding area
  • Health and safety awareness training is an asset
  • Background check is required
  • Must have active full driver's license in Ontario and produce a clean driver's abstract; company vehicle will

be provided

  • Bilingualism (English and French) an asset
  • Experience with assembly and installation of home medical equipment is an asset

SKILLS:

  • Candidates must demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills.
  • Candidate must be computer literate
  • Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderl
