About the Role: As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and supporting a plan that supports each child's, families and ECS program's needs. We are looking for a fulltime (FTE 1.0) teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
· Building a strong rapport with child, family and ECS program.
· Developing and supporting Individual Program Plans (IPPs) by collaborating with parents, ECS partners and team members.
· Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and strategies to support child's learning and progress.
· Supporting and coaching families and ECS programs on various strategies.
· Coordinating community-based, multidisciplinary team services in for clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or higher
- Valid Alberta Education permanent or interim teaching certificate
- Strong understanding of Early Childhood Development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to client and ECS partner locations
- Proficiency in technology tools like Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook
