Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ottawa, ON, for a Specialty Gas Salesperson. In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with customers, managing accounts, and identifying sales opportunities for industrial and specialty gases. Responsibilities will also include consulting with clients to offer customized solutions, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with nearby Core Industrial Gases locations to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of product knowledge and service quality to meet customer demands and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
  • Knowledge of Specialty Gases, Industrial Gas Applications, and relevant technical understanding
  • Strong Communication, Negotiation, and Relationship-Building Skills
  • Proficiency in Customer Service, Client Consultation, and Custom Solution Development
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and meet sales targets
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel within the designated region
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is an asset
  • Experience in the industrial gas sector will be considered a valuable advantage
