CORE Industrial Gases is an independent gas distributor. Its mission is to provide a full range of industrial and specialty gases along with the highest degree of service possible. Core Industrial Gases is a partnership between experienced industrial gas providers and industrial gas users.

CORE is looking for a Senior Sales Representative for the Eastern Ontario Region. Reporting to the CEO the Senior Sale Rep will work in collaboration with the team, develop and maintain outstanding business relationships with new and existing customers. This position requires a positive and energetic individual who has initiative and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit customers by phone or in person to promote new and repeat business
  • Build solid relationships by providing excellent customer service, information, pricing, resolving customer issues, and answering questions
  • Stay on top of local and regional market trends with regards to products and pricing
  • Prepares quotations and standard tender requests.
  • Negotiate new contracts
  • Do post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure orders are filled and shipped per customer requirements
  • Use your welding knowledge and experience to help deliver the right supplies for our customers business needs
  • Provide coaching to other sales roles
  • Perform all other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • College Diploma in commerce, sales and marketing, or other relevant education or equivalent training and experience
  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience, customer service or sales of welding or industrial products
  • Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory
  • Tech Savvy – strong knowledge of computer systems and google suite, comfortable learning and using new technology
  • Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the sales region
  • Solid self-manager with ability to set and manage priorities
  • Full G license, clean driver's abstract
  • A positive attitude and customer service focus
