Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, flatbed, and refrigerated trailer operations. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and timely delivery of freight while adhering to all regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers for the safe transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Navigate assigned routes while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
  • Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving best practices.
