Position Summary:

The
Production Manufacturing Manager
is responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves planning workloads, managing resources, coaching the production team, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015, CSA, UL, and Measurement Canada standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute all production activities to meet delivery and quality goals.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supervise the production team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and calibration schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, CSA, UL, and Measurement Canada regulations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Sales, and Service teams for seamless project execution.
  • Manage inventory and resource allocation for efficient production flow.
  • Lead, mentor, and train production staff to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions when required.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Production or Manufacturing Manager in an electrical fabrication or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with OrderTime or similar ERP software.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards (CSA, UL, Measurement Canada).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Factory/shop floor environment.
  • 40 hours per week (overtime as required).
  • Steel-toe footwear required.

Compensation:

Salary Range:
$75k – $85k per year (based on experience)
