Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Contract Manager  to join our team. This position is a12 months temporary role based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.  

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing contract administration, including all contractual communications, instructions, and variations.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements across the program while ensuring delivery teams fully understand their contractual obligations.

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to develop and maintain accurate reports on contract performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum: 

  • No less than a A University Degree + 8 years of relevant experience in pre and post contract functions

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in pre- and post-contract functions within large airport projects or similar infrastructure programs.

  • Solid understanding of Canadian contract laws.

  • Expertise in building construction, quantity surveying, contracts, procurement, and dispute resolution.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and coordinate large groups, including facilitating workshops.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications.

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
