What you'll do:

The successful candidate will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work independently. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Create a customer experience that makes a difference in our members lives; maintain and develop relationships with current contractor clients and customers.
  • Proper handling of all customer transactions.
  • Provide estimates, consultation and advice to customers for building projects.
  • Assist with preparing for sales promotions relating to Building Materials merchandise.
  • Participate in personal development and learning opportunities focused on competencies for the position.

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and:

  • You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
  • You have basic math and reading skills.
  • You have knowledge of lumber and products associated with construction (considered an asset).
  • You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
  • You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
